Azur: a brief history

  • The first version of the Azur platform was launched in 1999. It has undergone several rewrites over the years and has changed its look several times.
  • In addition to being used in a large number of companies and public and semi-public organizations, Azur has been at the heart of accounting operations for several institutions in Quebec’s healthcare network for many years.
  • Azur, with its configuration capabilities, offers several variations that allow for specific features to be presented for each sector of activity. One of these is used in particular by our subsidiary, Algo Payroll Services, to produce payrolls for thousands of companies in Canada.
  • Each version (12 per year) contains improvements and new features developed by our development team. Over the past 10 years, certain components of Azur have been moved or reproduced on the KoneK platform.
  • The version released in September 2025 is the 275th version of the platform!
